Amid lockdown and Janata curfew in the city of Jaipur in response to COVID-19 crisis, we distributed masks to the people in the frontlines of the crisis, free of cost. These DIY reusable cotton fabric masks were made at Mayori factory and are washable and reusable. A double layer of 100% cotton cloth in the mask is about 70% as effective as a surgical mask at capturing small particles (up to five times smaller than coronavirus).
Mayori is distributing these masks free of costs to those people on the frontlines of the crisis like autowallahs, security guards, policemen, garbage truck operators and other who are providing essential services to the people. We are distributing these masks free of cost because we want to ensure that these people providing essential services in the city are safe. We wanted to contribute in some way to the cause.
